This week’s Gospel reading for the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time is taken from Mark 10:2-16. We find before ourselves, another week’s scripture where Jesus is talking about children and the child-like faith they possess. In fact, if you’ve been counting, it’s the third week in a row the scriptures have highlighted using the “little ones” in this way. The constant theme is that we must, like children, hold our faith so dear, that we truly believe in it or just when it’s convenient to do so. Faith cannot be called upon only in the moments of despair; no, it must be believed in every day, with the good and the bad. That is how we enter the Kingdom of God. Carry on with that same child-like faith, the kind that lets you #livemysunday each and every day without worry.
