In this week’s Gospel reading for the Seventh Sunday of Easter, John 17:6-19, we are listening to an intimate prayer between Jesus and our Lord. Jesus is reflecting on what they have together accomplished, the gifts they have given to the people. The gift of the word, the gift of protection, the gift of joy, the gift of life, the gift of belonging, and of course the gift of truth. Why of course? Because it is true. The truth is what allows of this to work. Our eternal life is made possible because of the truth that God sent His only son into the world, for our benefit. This week try and acknowledge that truth as you go about your day-to-day. How is that you can go about in the world and exhibit that truth to those around you? What gift can you give to show that you indeed #livemysunday
