This week the church celebrates the Epiphany of the Lord. For some, the feast day falls on this Sunday and for others, later this week on the sixth of January. The importance of this celebration is to commemorate that Jesus was made incarnate to the three magi; the Son of Man was truly born of the flesh and the magi made witness of this great event. Now there is, in fact, concrete proof in the world of his existence! It’s no wonder that in the secular world, the definition of epiphany is the realization or moment in which you suddenly see or understand something in a new or very clear way and the magi being led to baby Jesus and seeing him in person is a true realization of God’s promise to his people! As we look to 2022, be intentional as you #livemysunday each and every day. What is God trying to reveal to you? What epiphanies will you discover when you lean in and listen?
